From November 19th, 2016 through February 19th, 2017 the District of Verona, ‘Direzione Musei d’Arte e Monumenti,’ gives praise to the ‘veronese’ painter Antonio Balestra (Verona, 1666 – 1740), in occasion of the three hundred fiftyth anniversary of his birth, with the exhibition Antonio Balestra. In the sign of grace, has been set up by the Museus of Castelvecchio, within the Boggian hall. The exhibition presents over sixty works of art – paintings, drawings, incisions and volumes of prints – kindly borrowed from international private and public owners.
